KIAH-TV is proud to showcase the 2009 Fiesta Bowl featuring the Texas Longhorns vs. Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday, June 20th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on CW39 Houston.
The 38th edition of the Fiesta Bowl game took place at the University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The Longhorns are coached by Mack Brown and feature standout quarterback Colt McCoy. The Buckeyes are coached by Jim Tressel and led by quarterback Terelle Pryor.
“Houstonians have a huge thirst for sports, and we love football.” said Chris Pruitt, KIAH Vice President & General Manager. “We wanted to bring the community a classic college football game. The 2009 Fiesta Bowl featuring Texas vs. Ohio State is a great battle between two well-coached teams.”
