KPRC 2 is now having a reading time for kids. Anchors and meteorologists jump on Facebook Live and click2houston.com to read a book to the little ones. This usually happens around 10am CST.
Over at KHOU 11, chief meteorologist David Paul is having a weather lesson for older children each afternoon on Facebook. He delivers these at 2pm CST. As you can tell from above, channel 11 is also posting the videos on Youtube.
FYI...if you want to delve into weather learning more, former KPRC 2 met Anthony Yanez (now at KNBC LA) wrote a book for kids called A Wild Ride on the Water Cycle (Jake & Alice).
