Former KPRC 2 morning traffic anchor Jennifer Reyna left a message on Instagram to her fans:

What an incredible privilege for a born and bred Houstonian to have had the opportunity to have been welcomed into your home over the past 13+ years.

I will never forget all of the kindness and support you offered to me during my ups and downs and hope that I have returned some of that kindness in my own small way by helping you get around safely, avoiding a traffic jam or just starting your day with a smile. You will never know how much you’ve meant to me.

I have many wonderful memories in meeting some of you as I have been out and about in our great city. Thanks again for your kind comments and overwhelming support and know that I return them all to you with a full heart. Love, Jen

Last Thursday, the station announced negotiations could not be worked out between KPRC and Reyna.

Even talent from other stations joined in the many comments of support left on the post.
