fuboTV Customers Will Receive AT&T SportsNet

This includes Houston Rockets and Houston Astros Games and Related Content

AT&T SportsNet, the TV home of the Houston Rockets and Houston Astros regional game telecasts, and fuboTV, the sports-first live TV streaming service, announced today an agreement for fuboTV to carry AT&T SportsNet, including live regular season games of both the Houston Rockets and Houston Astros, as well as other ancillary programing and behind the scenes content. The regional sports network is available throughout the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and portions of New Mexico. fuboTV base subscribers in the region will have access to the Network starting February 11.

fuboTV will live stream over 250 live events on AT&T Sports Networks when they become the first virtual MVPD (vMVPD) to carry AT&T SportsNet in the region. The addition of AT&T SportsNet strengthens fuboTV’s sports offering, which includes more than 30,000 sporting events annually, and increases its local coverage in Houston, where it already carries CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates. In addition to sports, fuboTV also streams the most popular live entertainment and news programming in the world and features more than 10,000 TV shows and movies on-demand each month.

“We are thrilled to announce this deal with fuboTV and give fans even more options to watch the Houston Rockets and Houston Astros in their home market,” said Nina Kinch, Vice President of Affiliate Relations for AT&T Sports Networks. “Both teams have had enormous success in the last few years with the Rockets making it to the Western Conference finals and the Houston Astros winning the World Series. We have had a lot of demand to bring these teams to an OTT provider and we are happy that fuboTV will help us do just that.”

“fuboTV continues to offer more regional sports networks (RSNs) than any other vMVPD – and entering the Houston market has been a priority for us,” said Ben Grad, Head of Content Strategy and Acquisition for fuboTV. “It’s an exciting year for Houston fans with the Rockets season now heating up and the Astros getting ready to pursue another World Series title. We’re thrilled to partner with AT&T SportsNet and bring Houston Astros and Rockets fans another option to get all their favorite teams games.”

fuboTV will carry AT&T SportsNet Southwest as part of its base fubo subscription package ($44.99 per month after a free, seven-day trial), which features 75+ channels, including 40+ channels that carry sports. Subscribers can watch on the web via https://fubo.tv and on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku and Android and iOS mobile devices.
