Lainie Fritz to leave KPRC 2
KPRC 2 sports reporter Lainie Fritz has a ring back on her finger
KPRC 2 sports reporter Lainie Fritz is very happy this week. She posted the following message on Instagram and I thought I would share it with you all:
So long story short...My car was broken into two years ago in Houston. Purse stolen...in my purse was my first national championship ring from dance team.
SHSU police chief just called and they have my ring. A tow truck company turned it into them. God came through. Never thought I'd see that ring again.
It turns out while Fritz was a student at Sam Houston State University, the Orange Pride member was on the spirit team that won the national championships.
According to an April 17, 2012 edition of the school's newspaper, the Houstonian, this was the the third time the team won.
Fritz was a sophomore at the time.
Over the last year, the KPRC 2 sports journalist has gained a lot of national attention. Just Google Fritz and you will see lots of coverage about her during the 2018 March Madness series between the University of Houston and Michigan.
Also, NBC Sports just did a feature on her you can watch below.
