Root Sports kicks-off 2015 Houston high school football season live August 27th
ROOT SPORTS, the television home of the Houston Astros, Rockets and Dynamo, announced today its 2015 schedule for the High School Football Game of the Week presented by Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute starting Thursday, August 27th.
The 10-week season will consist of 10 Thursday night regular season games, all broadcast Live and in High-Definition.
“High school football in Texas is very special and we are especially excited for the line-up of games that we have scheduled this season,” said David Peart, General Manager of ROOT SPORTS. “The passion and enthusiasm that exudes from the athletes, students and community throughout a high school football season in Texas is unsurpassable and we look forward to being a part of that excitement this fall and sharing it with our viewers.”
The 2015 season consists of games throughout the region and opens from McKinney, Texas as the Boyd Broncos host the Mesquite Horn Jaguars. See below for a full television schedule of games, dates and times. All games will be broadcast on ROOT SPORTS main channel unless otherwise noted.
