Telemundo Houston’s 10 PM Weekday Newscast Is 2nd-Most Watched Late News Program for 3 Consecutive Months

KTMD’s 10 PM Local Weekday and Weekend Newscasts Outrank All English-Language Competitors in the Market Among Adults 18 to 34 and Adults 18 to 49 in July 2015 Sweep

Telemundo Houston / KTMD today announced that Noticiero Telemundo Houston at 10 PM was the market’s second most-watched late local newscast, regardless of language, from Monday to Sunday among Adults 18 to 34 and Adults 18 to 49 during the July 2015 Sweep Period. This is the first time that Telemundo Houston’s local newscast at 10 PM outranked all other English-language competitors in the market from Monday to Sunday and among both demographic groups during one survey period.

For the first time, KTMD’s 10 PM weekday newscast was the second most-watched local late news in the market among Adults 18 to 34 and Adults 18 to 49 for three consecutive survey periods.

Specifically, Noticiero Telemundo Houston at 10 PM (Monday to Friday) averaged a 1.8 rating for Adults 18 to 34 and a 2.0 rating for Adults 18 to 49. Noticiero Telemundo Houston at 10 PM (Saturday and Sunday) averaged a 1.6 rating for Adults 18 to 34 and a 1.4 rating for Adults 18 to 49.
