It's a new day at FOX 26 KRIV as meteorologist Lindsey Day has been hired to help start your day on the station's weekend morning news.

No word if she is related to fellow FOXer Jessica Day.

The KRIV New Girl replaces Caitilin Espinosa who left the station for health reasons and started her own YouTube channel earlier this year.

Day comes from KOZL & KOLR in Springfield, Mo. Before that she worked at WCTV Tallahassee.

She has a bachelor's and master's degree in meteorology from Florida State University.

TVNewsCheck reports her first day at KRIV will be March 16th.
