KPRC, KHOU and KUHF among the 2014 Edward R. Murrow Awards winners
The 2014 regional winners of the RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards have been announced. We've already received word that 88.7 KUHF's Carrie Feibel took one, but then I started hearing from others asking what about my station?
Texas and Oklahoma fall into the Murrow's Region 6 category and other Houston media won too. Besides the Houston Public Media win, KPRC and KHOU also received a winning nod from the Murrow folks.
But hey, Dallas, Austin and other parts of Texas had winners too.

The Murrow awards recognize the best electronic journalism produced by radio, television and online news organizations around the world. According to its site, this year, RTDNA awarded 661 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards in 14 categories, including Overall Excellence, Breaking News, Investigative Reporting, and Website.
