Jenny Anchondo named new Fox 4 KDFW anchor

Jenny Anchondo moving to Dallas to anchor Fox 4 KDFW's "Good Day Saturday” and “Good Day Sunday”

Jenny Anchondo has been named FOX 4’s weekend morning news anchor and “Good Day” reporter, announced Robin Whitmeyer, the station's Vice President and News Director. Effective October 21, Anchondo will anchor the weekend morning newscasts, “Good Day Saturday” and “Good Day Sunday” and will also report for "Good Day" throughout the week.

In making the announcement, Whitmeyer stated, “Jenny is a valuable addition to our station. Her experience in breaking news, enterprise reporting, specifically investigative consumer stories, will provide further versatility to our team and enhance our news product.”

Most recently, Anchondo served as Morning Anchor/Reporter for WXIN-TV in Indianapolis for the past three years. Prior to that, she was a Morning Anchor/Reporter for KOLD-TV in Tucson, AZ. Previously, she was Anchor/Reporter/Producer for KNDU/KNDO-TV in Kennewick, Washington and General Assignment Reporter for KQQQ-AM in Pullman, Washington. Anchondo began her career with an internship at FOX News Channel in New York and a summer fellowship at the International Radio & TV Society in New York.

A graduate of the University of Idaho, Anchondo holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Mass Communication.
