Fox 26 KRIV anchor Melissa Wilson is receiving lots of love and support because of her child's recent diagnoses. Her six-year-old son has been diagnosed with leukemia. Wilson posted more on her Facebook page:
Surreal is the only thing I can say. I've been honored to walk the halls of Tx Children's Hospital, bringing you stories of hope & triumph about children fighting disease the past 13 years. Thanks for everyone's support, now that my own precious son has been diagnosed with leukemia. He's resting comfortably now in recovery & his life-saving chemotherapy has begun. We picture him running & playing & laughing again. We picture him graduating from high school and college. We can picture him getting married and having children of his own. We will beat this disease.
