Newly Renamed “CBS Tower” Will House Stations’ Dallas Operations
Beginning Monday, Aug. 26, CBS 11 and TXA 21’s Dallas newsroom and advertising sales offices will occupy the top floor of the office tower at 12001 North Central Expressway.
The 13-story building will be renamed “CBS Tower,” with signage at ground level, top-of-building and internally to reflect the new moniker in the coming weeks.
“We’re extremely pleased with our new space and the visibility this will provide our stations,” said CBS 11 and TXA 21 President and General Manager Gary Schneider. “In addition, the tower’s proximity to both Central Expressway and LBJ Freeway is key for our Dallas operation.”
“The addition of such an iconic American company to our roster of fine tenants raises the profile of our building and brings with it a new energy,” said Scott Dew, President of building owner and manager RPD Catalyst. “We are delighted to welcome CBS 11 and TXA 21 and appreciate the opportunity to re-name the building CBS Tower.”
The move follows the sale of the stations’ former Dallas building at 10111 North Central Expressway.
CBS 11 and TXA 21’s primary studios and other technical and business operations will remain in east Fort Worth on Bridge Street.
