For the last four years, Mrs. Kosina held the position of General Sales Manager for Cox Media Group’s KGLK-FM and KHPT-FM in Houston, and for three years prior to that promotion, she was the Local Sales Manager for Cox’s KKBQ-FM and KTHT-FM.
Radio One’s Houston Director of Sales Bob Mackay predicts Mrs. Kosina will help his station’s high performing account executives reach even greater heights.

A native Houstonian, Mrs. Kosina’s previous sales experience included stints as an Account Executive at Cox’s KKBQ-FM/KTHT-FM, Lieberman Broadcasting’s XO and Sonido Radio, and Clear Channel’s KKRW-FM and KHMX-FM. Mrs. Kosina says that her knowledge of the market and the factors that influence it has grown steadily since she entered Houston’s broadcasting arena in 1994.

Jaymie Kosina attended the University of Houston and is the recipient of a variety of industry accolades. She was awarded the Media Alliance of Houston Star Award as General Sales Manager of the Year in 2012 and the American Women in Radio and Television Houston Star Award for Local Account Executive of the Year in 2007.
A dedicated volunteer and community servant, Mrs. Kosina provides service to Media Alliance of Houston, The Houston Media Classic, The University of Houston Chi Omega chapter, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital.
She is married to Chad Kosina, a hospitality industry executive. The couple has two sons, Carson and Cade.
