Get judged by Ken Hoffman before the Texans game

Houston Texans Applique Banner FlagI know there has been controversy concerning Houston Texans tailgating recently, but here could be another reason to get you out there. Yes, it is a chance to have The Houston Chronicle's Ken Hoffman judge you.

Bing, the search 'decision' engine by Microsoft, is sponsoring a tailgating contest this Sunday at 9:30am sharp in the Reliant Stadium Yellow lot. Teams compete in fourcategories:

1) Cooking: Originality, presentation, regional flair and taste
2) Tailgate Spirit and Environment: Includes tailgating set-up and team flair
3) Parking Lot Agility: bean bag and football toss
4) Team/Sport Knowledge: Trivia challenge

Number 5 could be how many kegs can you drink before thinking the Astrodome is where the game is.

This is where Hoffman comes in (read his story about this here). Hoffy, former Houston Texans player Steve McKinney among others will judge the action.

Even if you don't care about the competition, the first 2000 visitors will receive Bing padded seat cushions. That way if the San Diego Chargers start killing the Texans you have something to throw at the field. Kick off is at noon.
