From Austin, Houston native Yehudi Mercado is producing a three-volume graphic novel called Buffalo Speedway. As Culturemap says it's the story of a pizza delivery guy in Houston during a perfect storm of events one day in 1994—Game 5 of the Houston Rockets' NBA Finals series with the New York Knicks, World Cup soccer and O.J. Simpson and his white Bronco in a low-speed car chase with police.Oh I remember the time that happened. The Houston Rockets finally had the national spotlight, but OJ's Bronco chase split the screen for game viewers. To channel Rodney Dangerfield -- Houston can't get no respect.
