1080 KRLD gardening expert Neil Sperry to leave station

The Examiner.com has the big news for gardeners in Dallas-Fort Worth:

Neil Sperry, North Texas gardening expert and radio show host for 30 years, will leave KRLD on July 5, Sperry announced today in an e-mail to friends and supporters.

According to the message, KRLD management notified Sperry several weeks ago that the station was exercising the required 180-day noticed of canceling his contact, which allowed him to purchase air time for his weekend program, “Neal Sperry’s Texas Gardening.” The program allows listeners to call Sperry with their gardening questions.
