New Freddy Krueger from San Antonio?

Who knew the new Freddy Krueger in the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street movie remake spent a lot of his life in San Antonio and was a child actor? Jeanne Jakle of the San Antonio Express-News reports that Jackie Earle Haley is in Chicago filming the latest version of the horror series:
