Terri Thomas, the operations manager of 97.9 The Box KBXX-Houston appears to be taking on double duty according to FMQB and others. Thomas will be programming Radio One co-owned Urban AC WQNC-FM/Charlotte, NC.
We've seen that happen in other parts of Texas. Brian Purdy of CBS is in charge of both Houston and Dallas clusters. Are tough times forcing radio to consolidate management positions even more?
