We now know that NBC 5 Chicago WMAQ is restructing itself much in the same way that WNBC New York has. But that is not the only noticible departure from tradtional TV the station has taken. Recently WMAQ let one of its producers go on air and slam the station for the way he says it overyhypes weather coverage.
WATCH IT
He is probably saying what many viewers (especially the ones not watching anymore) have been saying for years. Is this a smart segment for TV stations to have? Especially presented in his point/counterpoint style with the news anchors?
