I actually watch video pieces on newspaper web sites. Some are good, some are not. I think most TV news folks aren't too worried about the new online video competition at this point though. That will eventually change I predict.
In the meantime, here is an example of some newspaper video that isn't scaring anyone in television.

Michael adds: This was the biggest game in Oklahoma high school football this year...for the 6A state title. It was not a joke piece...or at least we don't think it was meant to be.
