I know there are a lot of talks about cougars cruising college bars these days picking up on younger men...but I'm not talking about that this time.
Here is a real cougar on a college campus. Or the story about cougars that used to be on the campus of the University of Houston.
J.R. Gonzales of the Houston Chronicle takes a look through the archives at the various UH Shasta mascots from the 60s to the late 80s.
SEE THE COUGARS
I have lived about 100 feet from a bear on the Baylor campus. The bear is still there. Unlike a cougar, I guess a bear is actually easier to manage...except during a Wall Street crisis. Here is my photo of the Bear Pit minus the bear. If you look closely at the bricks around the Baylor Bear Pit, you will notice one is dedicated to my mother. No joke.
