The Houston Chronicle has offered voluntary buyouts to its employees in an effort to shed about 80 full-time positions.
In a Sept. 4 letter to staff obtained by the Houston Business Journal, Publisher and President Jack Sweeney said the paper planned to reduce its full-time positions by about 5 percent to 6 percent throughout the month. READ THE REST
