Isn't the Internet fascinating? In the past we saw the cast mates of the Real World on the show and on the MTV specials. Then you might have caught them on a club tour in real life. That was it.
Now that the latest Real World Hollywood marks the 20th season of the show, things are quite different than what the first New York cast found when they left the loft. That's because we have the Internet and YouTube in 2008.
So what happened after this past weekend's reunion show? Three Real Worlders whipped out a camera and recorded a 10 minute video in a hotel room. Will Gill, Kimberly Alexander and Brianna Taylor addressed the season, other cast mates and the reunion special.

Why do I care? I think it is interesting how the cast mates can keep the show still going on their personal YouTube accounts after they move out of the house. What will MTV think? Will the network impose rules? Make the cast mates sign legal agreements forbidding them from posting videos about the show?
If you look around, you can even find video the current cast mates took during the show and have posted on YouTube. How soon till we have actors and even news anchors posting behind the scenes videos of their shows?
Basically the message here is mass media is losing control one YouTube clip at a time.
