Houston ranks 26th in the nation for walkability, according to a study conducted by Front Seat, a software company that ranks cities for their walker-friendliness.
Forty cities were ranked based on their neighborhoods’ density, abundance of mixed-use building, pedestrian-friendly design and nearby schools and workplaces.
According to the report, Houston’s top walking neighborhoods are downtown, the Montrose area and River Oaks. READ THE REST
