David Barron of the Houston Chronicle has been reporting on several changes in the Houston sports media.
One change comes to television. According to Barron, KRIV Channel 26 sports reporter and anchor Matt Sampsell, no longer works for the TV station. The article also notes three KRIV newsroom employees were released too.
Next Barron got the scoop on his own coworker. Chron sports writer, Jerome Solomon, is out at ESPN 97.5 KFNC The Ticket because of the paper's guidelines. According to the article, Chronicle employees can't read ads on the air which the radio station needs to make money.
