Now I am beginning to feel sorry for Katie Couric and the CBS Evening News.Especially when her old show, The Today Show on NBC, is out rating her evening newscast.
Whoa is me, CBS is going to start standing for "Couric Bleeding Shares" when it comes to the Evening News.
Next Cindy Adams at the New York Posts writes that Couric will never work on CBS at night and it's not her fault:
Katie is never never never ever never ever never ever going to pull it off. Solo women's network news anchor? No. Not. Nyet. Nisht. No more than Rosie will decorate Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition cover, Bush will win the International Mr. Popularity Contest or I'll ever write the Great American Novel. Ain't going to happen.If Adams wasn't writing this, you could call sexism. I personally think that America is ready for a female evening news anchor. Diane Sawyer anyone?
