Posts have been slow here and on the Consumer Blog because I have been secretly working on our new MegaDoppler 13 section with Tim Heller for the last week.
Wow, The Chief made this thing very in depth.
Right before I broke my camera, I took this picture of the radar antenna inside the radome. The picture became a contest on The Weather Blog.
Here is my slide show from the perspective of a normal dude visiting the radar site. I thought it was funny how the radar sits around cow pastures complete with shot gun shells on the ground surrounding the property. What goes on out there when no one is around?
