Privately held USFR Media Group purchased the property early last year when it was in the process of buying KTBU from Lakewood Church. The station still broadcasts the church's programming, in addition to a lineup of classic family shows and high school sports. News 24 Houston quit broadcasting in July 2004.A friend sneaked me into that building when News 24 Houston first went on the air. It was very nice and state of the art, plus had lots of room to grow.
