There is a real jewel in Houston's backyard, Brazos Bend State Park. We went last weekend and had a blast. Just take a trip down 288 South and follow the signs.You'll find lots of trails and swampy areas to explore. That's where we saw this guy. Yes I took this picture and I was that close with my camera phone. Two gentlemen, who were most likely residents of a place far from the city, were talking about how much cash they could get for this amount of alligator meat. Good luck guys, my money was on the very large gator in that transaction.
