REVIEW: Microsoft Soapbox on MSN Video (beta)

I just tried out Microsoft's Soapbox on MSN Video (beta) and if you like Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer or anti-Apple videos, then you will eat it up. OK, there are other videos on there but they are pretty much the same ones you'll see on other smaller video sharing sites.

After all, this service is by invitation only and still pretty young. The volume of videos will only increase.

I do like the layout of the service. It is very slick and user friendly from what I can tell at a quick glance. Videos load quickly and it is pretty easy to navigate. Surprisingly it even works on Firefox.

The videos come with tabs that display tags, comments...etc. There are three fields that give you a chance to share videos by link, link with image and an embed player.

Here is an example of a video that you can see without an a sign in. THIS IS NOT WHAT THE SERVICE LOOKS LIKE. Once there, you can sign up to get the entire experience.

Let the war begin with GooTube. That's an uphill battle at this point for Microsoft.
