Big changes coming to Saturday Night Live

Now that we have Saturday Night Live themed shows on TV, the real SNL is making some changes.

First of all, head writer and news anchor Tina Fey, has left to conquer primetime in the new Lorne Michael's sitcom 30 Rock. Cast member Seth Myers will be here replacement in both roles, but that's not the only change:
The repertory comedy will have 11 cast members this season, down from 16. Fey has gone on to make the new NBC prime-time comedy "30 Rock," bringing fellow cast member Rachel Dratch with her. Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz, who both joined "SNL" in 1997, and three-year cast member Finesse Mitchell, will not be returning.
At least we will still have the Lazy Sunday shorts to replace the missing cast members. CONTACT: Leave me a Houston or Texas media news tip | COMMENT: Click to leave your thoughts on this post here
