SMASHING PUMPKINS have entered a studio with producer Roy Thomas Baker to record their first album since 1999, according to a new post on the band's web site. Baker produced QUEEN's "A Night at the Opera", which included their classic "Bohemian Rhapsody", and also has THE CARS, JOURNEY and CHEAP TRICK on his lengthy résumé.Well it's probably not so much a band in the studio as it is Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain.
