Petition to preserve Houston landmarks

Looks like the Houston blogosphere has a new issue...the possible demolition of Houston area landmarks. Those being the famous and interesting buildings of the Landmark River Oaks Theatre on West Gray and the Bookstop in the former Alabama Theater on Shepherd.

Jim Parsons of the Houstonist sent me an email about an online petition his site started:
