I would also like to comment to the style of the blog. The writing is very
brief and focused on passing along information. There is no need to write
long form articles. Keep it short and include lots of links. Aggregating
lots of web resources in this way will help showcase your area of expertise.
This is a great example of producing consumer news on demand across multiple
platforms.
It's always nice to get some attention. Especially when you are trying to pull something like this off. It's not easy. I have to scan a lot of sources all day before I can even begin writing for the blog. That's partially why it is short - that and the fact I'm sure readers just want to scan through quickly.
I'm already working on producing five stories a week for Jeff. What does that mean? I come up with ideas, set them up, shoot interviews and write some of them. That's on top of making sure the promotions department has all the stuff they need to promote the story and whatever else happens.
You have to love the whole web 2.0 thing - otherwise your blog will suck.
