"Only about half of the homes in the United States with HDTV sets are able to watch high-definition television..."I've had personal experience in this. My in-laws bought a great High Definition television system. It included the big TV, DVD and stereo surround sound components.
When they moved I was the one to reconnect the system. What I found was the electronics store wired the system incorrectly the first time and the cable company installers failed to establish an HD signal.
They had the system for months and were not getting HD. I had them call the cable company and things were finally resolved with the addition of a set top box. CONTACT: Leave me a Houston or Texas media news tip | COMMENT: Click to leave your thoughts on this post here
