102.7 BOB-FM KJXK launched this morning at 7am on San Antonio radio, billed as "80s... 90s... & WHATEVER!"
The station was previously known as Jack FM.
For days, the station was stunting with on-hold music and was temporarily known as "San Antonio's 102.7 FM." You can hear this morning's format flip via the video below. Note the MTV reference, as that once-iconic brand was recently in the news.
KJXK Owner Connoisseur Media says the station will continue delivering the Adult Hits music format listeners love, while dialing up local connection, personality, and fun for San Antonio and the surrounding communities.
102.7 BOB-FM will feature a wide-ranging playlist spanning decades and styles, paired with a sharper focus on localized content, community involvement, and music selections tailored even more closely to South Texas listeners. The result: a station that feels familiar, upbeat, sarcastically fun, and unmistakably San Antonio...or Whatever. 80s...90s...& Whatever.
For example, on the launch day of Monday, January 5th, 2026, at 3pm, 102.7 BOB-FM played:

“This is all about serving our listeners and clients even better,” said Morgan Harrison, VP Market Manager. “102.7 BOB-FM keeps the Adult Hits format people enjoy, while giving us more room to spotlight San Antonio- its neighborhoods, its culture, and its sense of fun. We’re making radio that feels local, alive, and connected- the way it should be.”
Listeners can expect consistent, feel-good music, a lighthearted attitude, and engaging on-air moments - without surprises or disruption.
“Our goal is simple: keep it fun and keep it consistent,” said Greg Martin, Operations Manager. “BOB-FM is built around music people know and love, delivered with personality. It’s easy to listen to, easy to enjoy, and it fits San Antonio perfectly.”
Connoisseur Media promises the new 102.7 BOB-FM's focus remains squarely on what makes radio matter most: Their 3 C’s: Community, Clients, and Colleagues.
“At the heart of every great radio station are the people- On the Air, behind the scenes, and in the community,” Harrison added. “With Connoisseur Media, that commitment comes first. We believe in local teams, strong partnerships, and being a positive force in the cities we serve.”
