Kayler Smith left her ABC Big News 2 KMID Midland-Odessa sports director role and has joined WDTN 2 Dayton, Ohio as a sports reporter.
She is the first female on air in the 2 Sports department's history.

Smith joined KMID in June 2022.
The University of Missouri School of Journalism grad was a sports reporter/anchor for KOMU 8 News. She has also worked for MUTV 23 Sports as the Sports Digital Director.
She is a member of the Association for Women in Sports Media.
