Devyn Darmstetter announced she left her morning news anchor position with ABC 7 Amarillo KVII in February 2025.
Here is what Darmstetter posted on social:
"It was a bittersweet goodbye as change is never easy.
I don’t know what’s next for me but I’m excited to see what God has in store for me.
Thank you to all of my viewers for waking up and watching me every morning.
Your love and support means more to me than you know. You’ve helped make some of my big dreams become a reality and for that I am forever grateful. If you see me around the 806, make my day and say hello!"
Darmstetter joined ABC7 in January 2024 from NewsChannel 10 KFDA, also in Amarillo where she had been since 2022.
She is a Texas A&M University grad.
