Travis joined KXAN in 2020 as an investigative reporter from KAMC Lubbock, where she was the anchor of Good Morning Lubbock and KAMC News at 11:00 a.m.
DuPree was hired in June 2018 from KJRH Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was a Weekend Morning Anchor. Later on, Dupree anchors the 4pm news with chief meteorologist Nick Bannin.
Both of the EMMY Award winning anchors interned with CBS News, but Travis, a University of Texas at Austin grad, interned with KXAN so anchoring for the station fulfills a decade long dream.
This team comes from a recent anchor shuffle. Jennifer Sanders left middays for evenings when Britt Moreno left. Mike Rush left in September.
