Husband Robert Rosenkranz announced the sad news on Facebook:

It was a very sad day yesterday..
I lost my best friend and my soul mate Vikki...
She lost her battle a little after 10pm last night.
She was a fighter and would never give up..till the very end.
It was a great honor and privileged to be with her for 9 years.
Nine of the very best years of my life..
To everyone that met Vikki knew just what a special person she was.
To all those that never had this honor you were truly robbed of a very incredible experience...
Her ear to ear smile was contagious..
One friend said "If Vikki walked thru an empty field , flowers would pop up in her footsteps".. I agree 100%
I will miss her every single day till the day I die..
She is now an Angel and I know that she is hard at work helping others...
Thank you to all that sent their prayers and healing intentions..
The universe must have needed her more..

  4. There are no words to express my sadness for the loss of my very dear friend. Vikki was one my favorite people in this world. I wish to express my deepest sadness for those that she left behind but words fail me. The colors of this world became muted and much less vibrant when we lost her. She could light up a room with her smile and always did..
Of my friend I can say this without reservation that everything she ever did, she did completely and with total conviction or she didn’t do it. She got the marrow out of everything she set her sights on.
Saying that she will be missed just aren’t good enough words. The spot she left behind will never be filled in quite the same way she did it. Vikki was in my estimation and still is one in a million. I will always remember her.

  5. I am very sorry to hear that we have lost Vicky Taylor in her battle with cancer. She was a lovely lady and did a good job for Don when she filled in for him. Her husband wrote a lovely tribute about her. It is very obvious how much he loved her!

  7. ABC has had 2 local TV talents to pass away recently. Vikki succumbing to cancer 2 months ago today at age 45. Less than 2 weeks ago, WABC-TV reporter Lisa Colagrossi passed away suddenly from brain aneurysm at 49. May both ladies rest in peace, and the Good Lord bless and comfort their families and friends.
