Angela Chen departs KTRK abc13; joins FOX 26 KRIV as reporter

Angela Chen has appeared on the Houston Disney/ABC Television Group station after being at KOLO 8 Reno News Now as a morning reporter/fill-in anchor for the past year.
According to her LinkedIn account, Chen has also been a New York Times Freelance Contributor for the past two years.
Ahead of Reno, Chen worked as a freelance reporter for San Diego 6 News XETV and KBAK/KBFX the CBS/FOX duo in Bakersfield, CA.
Before California, Chen was in the east coast where she worked as a NY 1 reporter for two years and as a news editor and reporter for Our Chinatown. She was also a freelancer for News 12 Networks in NY.
Chen started her career at KUSI in San Diego as a web reporter and associate producer. Before that she was an NBC Universal News Fellow.
She has a masters in journalism from Columbia and an undergrad degree from the University of California, San Diego.
