Hot 95.7's Sarah Pepper to shave head for cancer fight

Hot 95.7 KKHH morning host Sarah Pepper is going to shave her head. Not for fashion, but to help fight cancer.

Pepper has been nominated as Woman of the Year for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Her goal is to raise $100,000 for the group. When she hits $50,000 she is going to shave her head in honor of those who have and are fighting this disease. Other CBS Houston staffers like Ivan Trujillo and Blake Hayes have also agreed to shave their heads when she hits that goal.

Friday night Sarah is doing another fundraising event. Star-a-oke, a karaoke event at Drink Houston, will feature Houston celebrities and auction items. The event is 7-9pm at Drink Houston and is $15 at the door with all profits benefiting the campaign.

The following Houston celebrities will be singing:

Natalie Bompke Fox 26
Michelle Merhar Fox 26
Kristy Powers from Fox 26
Brian Ching - Houston Dynamo
Geoff Cameron - Houston Dynamo
Lauren (Mix 96.5)
John Paul voice of Houston Rockets
The Hot Show

  1. JJ Kaden didn't sign?

  2. I wish more of our tax money went towards disease research...even if we took a fraction of the trillion dollars we spend on war, we could find cures and save lives.

    1. I agree with you, with all those money being spent on useless missles they could've been used to help cure cancer.
