Mike McGuff's Paris, France trip in 2 minutes

Remember when I announced a break from blogging? Here was part of the reason. I was going to Paris, France. Here are some videos and photos I took on that trip. I shot an intro because this will probably be my first and last "report" from Paris, France.

This is a quick look at what I saw, edited with quick cuts, so you only have two seconds to get bored before the image changes. It's kind of like me barging into your living room with the slide projector in the 70s, only this is more interesting. Hopefully I showed you a few things you didn't know existed in Paris.

Sites featured are the Louvre Museum, La Sainte-Chapelle, Notre Dame Cathedral and Centre Pompidou among others.

I threw in a song from my pals The Octopus Project from Austin/Houston. Hopefully the audio is not removed from the video as a result of this.

  1. Thanks for that, Mike! It was like reliving the long weekend I spent there :D

  2. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. What was that rotating video tape looking thing - was neat. Hurry back.

  3. I'm back now. This is from early February. That video tape looking thing was Ċ½ilvinas Kempinas' "Flux" - Flying tape at the Centre Pompidou modern art museum.

  4. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip and a great video. But Mike how could you go all that way, to Paris, shoot all those scenes and forget Jim? Bro, the Lizard King... what up?

  5. I actually saw Jim's grave back in 1999. I figured once was enough.
