KTRK 13 morning anchors becoming bartenders

A morning TV anchor might have to put in the rough early hours, but they do get to have some fun later on while you're still stuck at work or just thinking about leaving for traffic time.

This Thursday you can catch three morning types doing some celebrity bartending:

Tom Koch, KTRK-TV ABC 13 morning anchor and reporter
Don Nelson, Entertainment reporter and morning traffic reporter for KTRK-TV ABC13
Katie McCall, weekend anchor and reporter for KTRK-TV ABC13

They will be at Sullivan's Steakhouse Houston from 6pm - 9pm tonight. This celerity bartending event benefits and kicks off the 21st Annual Carmen and David Bridges Joyful Toyful Fiesta, an annual holiday fundraiser and toy drive.

Attending guests can indulge in specialty bar bites courtesy of Executive Chef Teli Trikilis. All tips and donations to the celebrity bartenders, as well as 20 percent of the food sales in the Ringside bar will be awarded to Joyful Toyful Fiesta.

Guests are also asked to bring new unwrapped toys, games, sports equipment or books for children ranging from infant to teenager for the Joyful Toyful XXI gift drive, which will be set up in Ringside.

Join Sullivan's Steakhouse and its celebrity bartenders as they come together to support Joyful Toyful Fiesta's cause, and enjoy lively libations and an array of culinary delights.

  1. Maybe they can call Shara Fryer out of retirement to give them some pointers. She worked as a bartender before she got into TV.

  2. I wish they'd call Shara Fryer out of retirement and put her back on TV!

  3. Good...now I have a way to get some beer goggles before I turn over to Ch 2, and maybe said beer goggles will make their women will look remotely attractive.
