KIAH 39 becomes CW39 again with new look starting today

Earlier today I mentioned KHOU 11 has adopted a new slogan and logo, last week KPRC 2 introduced new graphics and now another Houston station is getting a graphical makeover.

Starting today, KIAH 39 is going back to the CW39 branding with a new look.

"In recent months we identified ourselves as 'Channel 39,'" Theressa Virgil, Director of I & I for KIAH-TV told the mikemcguff.com blog. "Now we are embracing our affiliation with The CW network while acknowledging our home base, so we are now 'CW39 – Real Houston.'"

Virgil tells me the “CW39 – Real Houston” bug will be attached to the station's daily programming. With the new branding also comes the station's new IDs and promos (WATCH ABOVE VIDEO).

KIAH 39 also synced its new 39online.com website to the new on-air look.
