Since I just posted about my new freelance gig at KIAH 39, I don't want to inundate you with stories about the station, but I just saw something worth linking to on the Huffington Post. The post is written by fellow KIAH 39 freelancer Matt Sampsell (former Fox 26 KRIV weekend anchor).
He talks about the struggles he endured after his departure from KRIV in a very well written piece. Sampsell's journey took him from making around $80 a week in radio, to a friends couch in Seattle all the way to starting a sports radio station in the Bahamas. READ IT
