Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx broadcasts Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight. Host Nikki Sixx – co-founder/bassist/songwriter of Mötley Crüe and chart-topping band Sixx:A.M., producer, clothing designer, philanthropist, best-selling author and photographer – discusses music and lifestyle topics as he gives listeners a backstage look at the world and mind of a rock star. Joined by co-host Kerri Kasem, Sixx provides his unique perspective and attitude as the duo welcomes celebrity guests, recording artists and fascinating characters from all walks of life. All this and more are coupled with music that rocks The Eagle.
Sixx stated, “After almost 30 years of hearing my music and being interviewed on the radio, I’m excited to finally be behind the mic with Sixx Sense. Together, with Kerri Kasem, I hope to create the best possible radio show with compelling guests, interesting topics and great music.”
“When the opportunity came down to team up with someone as successful at Nikki, we jumped. Everything Nikki does is gold, whether it’s with the Crue or Sixx AM or writing a book or two. We’re looking forward to Nikki bringing D/FW a killer night show with several surprises,” said Chris Ryan, The Eagle’s Program Director.
The show starts on 97.1 The Eagle KEGL February 15. I have not heard where else this syndicated show will go, but it is safe to say that Houston does not have a radio station it fits on at this point. Maybe it will also go on IHeartRadio and I can still listen.
