Belo and Dell team up to test mobile DTV in Austin

With the death of analog television came the temporary absence of portable television. Ever try to lug around a 40 inch flat panel for a weekend trip to the beach? These things aren't battery powered for the next hurricane you know.

Now Belo and Dell are teaming up to test mobile DTV in Austin at KVUE 24. News McNabb has more:

It takes new, recently approved technology for both the transmitter and the receiver. TV stations in major markets are spending $75,000-$150,000 for new equipment for their towers that will transmit the digital signal within their assigned bandwidth. READ MORE
