Houston-area movie theater gets motion seats

According to a press release I received, Santikos Theatres' Silverado 19 in Tomball will get some movie theater seats that move with the film's action:

With its unique, patented technology, « D-BOX Motion Code™ » uses motion codes specifically programmed for each film, TV program or video game, which are sent to a motion generating system integrated within either a platform or a seat. The resulting motion is perfectly synchronised with all onscreen action, creating an unmatched realistic immersive experience.

See it first hand December 25 for the opening of "Sherlock Holmes." This film looks like a British tale mixed with a Michael Bay like twist. COMMENT: Click to leave your thoughts on this post here
