KPRC 2 Launches 4:30am newscast

Is there some kind of bug going around Houston? It seems that all of the TV stations have caught it and are now starting morning news at 4:30am!

KPRC 2 dumps 4:30am newscast

First it was KHOU 11, now KPRC 2:

With the addition of the 4:30 a.m. News, Local 2 will now have 2½ hours of local news each morning, Monday through Friday. Anchor Owen Conflenti and Meteorologist Anthony Yanez will help Houstonians begin their busy day at a better, more convenient time. 

And here these aren't even the stations rumored to expand newscasts! At least I am giving the TV trades a lot to link to today.
